Improbable Objects is excited to announce that we are partnering with The 3D Printer Experience a new retail store in Chicago focused on bringing 3D printing to a wider community. Starting in mid-April 2013 The 3D Printer Experience will offer the general public a place to come learn about 3D printing, have their portraits printed in 3D, buy 3D printers and accessories and get their designs printed using our 3D printing equipment. Our capabilities include Makerbot style FDM machines in ABS and PLA and an EOS P1100 Nylon Sintering printer.
Improbable Objects produces 3d printed artists multiples and editions. Our mission is to lower the bar to entry for artists and designers to 3D printing. We produce exciting and innovative 3d printed art works and make them available to a wider audience through our website, curated gallery exhibitions and art fairs. Click here for information about our first edition “Dr N.A.T.O.M” by Jacob Crose. This edition is now available for purchase, we will be releasing future editions shortly.
Improbable Objects needs you. If you are an maker / designer / artist and are interested in publishing a 3d printed edition via Improbable Objects please email us a short description of your proposed piece with some kind of visual representation to info@improbableobjects.com.
